Consonants are letters that represents certain speech songs specifically sounds, that involve blocking the air before it leaves the mouth, such as with the tongue, lips, or throat .Mose letters of the English alphabet or consonants except for a, e, i, o and u which are vowels.

The word consonant may be used ambiguously for both speech sounds on the letters of the alphabet used to write them. in English this letters are b,c,d,f,g ,j,k, l ,m ,n ,p ,q ,s, t ,v, x ,z and often h,r, w , y.
